therefore knows that SIP transactions time out after a certain period of time. When Rhino queries the RA it will tell Rhino to
end the activity corresponding to the outstanding SIP transaction. Rhino will then end the activity according to the JAIN SLEE
specification which will detach the SBB and delete it. It should be noted that this approach means that if Rhino discards the
event due to lack of CPU resource to process the event that eventually the RA will be queried again.
It is also possible to use the JAIN SLEE timer facility to set timers that will delete the SBB when they fire. Please note that the
use of such defensive timers is very rare and likely the application can be designed such that it will not need to set defensive
timers.
18.6.2 Management Interface
If for some reason SBB entities or ActivityContext objects which are allocated are not being reclaimed the cause is likely to be
bug in the deployed application (e.g. inside a Service or Resource Adaptor).
It is possible to manually delete them using the management interface. For details of this interface please refer to Section 6.1 in
Chapter 6.
